Description: Declares agent capability for the Cisco ITP SS7 access control list MIB.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CISCO-ITP-ACL-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-ITP-ACL-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module, not a data-bearing MIB, that formally documents which parts of CISCO-ITP-ACL-MIB a specific Cisco agent implementation supports on Cisco's SS7-over-IP Internet Transfer Point (ITP) signaling gateway platform. It belongs to the SS7/ITP signaling technology area, and its purpose is purely descriptive: listing supported object groups, variations, and any implementation limitations of the ACL MIB. As a capabilities statement it exposes no runtime counters, status, or fault objects itself, so it cannot be used to monitor hardware or software health directly; its value is confirming, at MIB-compilation or NMS-integration time, which access-control-list management features are actually available on a given device's agent. It exists solely as a companion to CISCO-ITP-ACL-MIB, the actual data-bearing MIB it describes support for. It would be consulted by MIB compilers or NMS integrators configuring management of Cisco ITP signaling gateways, not by live monitoring polls. Engineers can download the CISCO-ITP-ACL-CAPABILITY file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-ITP-ACL-CAPABILITY. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

- Cisco ITP (SS7 signaling gateway/Internet Transfer Point)
Monitoring Examples
This module is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES declaration with no runtime data objects, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe honestly; it only enumerates which object groups of CISCO-ITP-ACL-MIB the agent implements.
