What Is CISCO-IGMP-FILTER-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-IGMP-FILTER-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module describing which objects of the CISCO-IGMP-FILTER-MIB (IGMP multicast group access filtering) a Cisco switch's agent supports. It belongs to Cisco's Layer 2/3 multicast control MIB family and, as a conformance module, exposes no runtime tables, counters, or traps. It exists to let management systems confirm IGMP filtering feature support before polling the actual filter MIB for policy state. Its dependency is on the CISCO-IGMP-FILTER-MIB it profiles. It applies to Cisco switches implementing per-port IGMP group filtering. Engineers can download the CISCO-IGMP-FILTER-CAPABILITY file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
