What Is CISCO-IEEE8021-CFM-V2-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-IEEE8021-CFM-V2-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module stating which objects and groups of the IEEE8021-CFM-V2-MIB (version 2 of the 802.1ag Connectivity Fault Management standard) a given Cisco agent supports. It belongs to Cisco's Carrier Ethernet OAM MIB family and, being a capabilities statement, carries no runtime counters, tables, or traps of its own. Network management systems use it purely to determine feature-level conformance of a device's CFM v2 implementation before attempting to poll or configure the underlying data MIB. Its dependency is entirely on the IEEE8021-CFM-V2-MIB standard it profiles. It applies to Cisco Carrier Ethernet switches and routers implementing 802.1ag CFM version 2.
