What Is CISCO-CDSTV-SERVICES-MIB?

CISCO-CDSTV-SERVICES-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB monitoring service health on the Cisco Content Delivery System for TV (CDS-TV) product family, a suite handling ingest, storage, caching, streaming, playout, and on-demand video delivery to TV/set-top-box clients. Its service-monitor table, keyed by index, records service name and status, with configurable up/down notification-enable flags and corresponding up/down notifications. As a status/notification MIB it lets an operator get alerted the moment a CDS-TV service component (ingest, streaming, etc.) goes down. It is deployed on the Cisco Content Delivery System for TV (CDS-TV) product family. Engineers can download the CISCO-CDSTV-SERVICES-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-CDSTV-SERVICES-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
