Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasRSTOutFwdPulseOffTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.5.2.1.7

Description: This object specifies the interval between two forward pulse tones. This object applies to outgoing R2 registers where the forward signals are sent as pulses for non-compelled signaling.

What is ccasRSTOutFwdPulseOffTimer?

This sets the silent interval between successive forward pulse tones for outgoing R2 registers in non-compelled, pulse, signaling. Together with ccasRSTOutFwdPulseOnTimer, this defines the complete pulse cadence for dialed digits on this trunk, and a mismatch versus what the far end's pulse detector expects, on top of a wrong on-time, compounds into unreliable digit reception on non-compelled R2 trunks. A cadence of 60 ms on and 60 ms off configured via these two objects would need to match the far-end exchange's expected pulse timing for digits to be read reliably on that pulsed R2 trunk.
