ccasLSTSeizeAckToDigitTimer

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasLSTSeizeAckToDigitTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.3.3.1.11

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the amount of time that the GW should wait for the reception address digits after sending seize ack signal. The value of 0 indicates the timer will not be started and MG would wait forever.

What is ccasLSTSeizeAckToDigitTimer?

This sets how long the gateway waits for address digits to begin arriving after it has sent its own seize-acknowledgment signal, with 0 meaning it waits without limit. This specifically bounds the window between acknowledging a seizure and the far end actually starting to send digits, catching a scenario where the far end seized the channel but then never followed through with dialing information, which would otherwise tie up the channel indefinitely. With this set to 10 seconds, a channel that has been seize-acknowledged but receives no digits within that window would be released by the gateway rather than held open waiting for digits that may never come.
