ccasLSTDelayBetRegAnsAndLineAns
Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasLSTDelayBetRegAnsAndLineAns
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.3.3.1.10
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Gauge
Access: read-write
Description: This object specifies the timer that will be started after register signaling completes successfully, within which the answer line signal should be received. This applies to outgoing R2 registers. The value of 0 indicates the timer will not be started and MG would wait forever.
What is ccasLSTDelayBetRegAnsAndLineAns?
This sets, for outgoing R2 calls, how long the gateway waits after register signaling successfully completes before it expects to see the answer line signal, with 0 meaning it will wait indefinitely. This bridges the gap between digits all exchanged successfully and the call actually being answered, so this timer specifically catches calls where signaling succeeded but the called party never actually picks up, or the answer signal is lost, distinct from failures during digit exchange itself. If register signaling completes but no answer signal arrives within this timer's window, for example 60 seconds, on an outgoing R2 call, the gateway would treat that as an unanswered/failed call rather than continuing to hold the channel open forever.
