ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.1.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: ConfigIterator

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to repeatedly apply the writable objects of ccasIfExtVoiceCfgTable specified in the same SNMP PDU starting from the row specifies by the index of the instance for the number of rows specified in this object.

The order of operation is iterated through the logical order of the DS0 group. Whether the iteration will be applied across the physical boundary or not is depended on the system implementation.

What is ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition?

Setting this object triggers the gateway to take the writable values just set in the same SNMP PDU on one row of ccasIfExtVoiceCfgTable and replicate them across a specified number of subsequent rows, in DS0-group logical order. This exists because provisioning voice parameters DS0-by-DS0 across a T1/E1 trunk with 24 to 31 channels one SNMP Set at a time is impractical, so this bulk-iterator lets one Set operation configure an entire span at once. For example, setting this to 24 while writing VAD and tone-plan values on DS0 group 1 would apply those same values to DS0 groups 1 through 24 of a full T1 trunk in a single operation.
