Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasIfExtVoiceCfgCcntrlProfile

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CCallControlProfileIndexOrZero

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the index of call control profile that is used by this DS0 group. If the value of ccasGrpCfgServiceType is 'mgcp(6)', this is the index of cxeCallCtrlProfileTable. If the value of ccasGrpCfgServiceType is 'h248(9)', this is the index of cmedxPropertyProfileTable.

The value of 0 means the DS0 group is not associated any Profile. The DS0 group is using the default Call Control parameters defined in the media gateway.

What is ccasIfExtVoiceCfgCcntrlProfile?

This object holds the table index of the call-control profile applied to this DS0 (a single 64 kbps timeslot group), pointing into the MGCP call-control profile table or the H.248 property profile table depending on the group's configured signaling protocol. Setting this to a nonzero index lets an admin apply a specific, named set of call-control parameters to just this one DS0 group instead of the gateway-wide defaults, which matters when different trunks need different MGCP/H.248 behavior on the same chassis. For example, an admin might set this to 3 on DS0 group 12 to apply a custom MGCP profile tuned for a PSTN gateway trunk, while leaving other groups at 0 to inherit the default profile.
