Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasIfExtVoiceCfgBulkCfgOwner
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.1.1.1.12
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OwnerString
Access: read-write
Description: This object is used for error checking of the operation specified in ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition.
The value of this object is set by the SNMP manager with its own identifier at the same time as issuing the bulk operation by setting ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition. Later on, the SNMP manager should check the value of this object, if it is the same with the SNMP manager name, then the value of ccasIfExtVoiceCfgBulkCfgResult indicates the result of the bulk operation initiated by this SNMP manager.
What is ccasIfExtVoiceCfgBulkCfgOwner?
This object holds an identifier string that the SNMP manager writes at the same time it triggers a bulk configuration via ccasIfExtVoiceCfgRepetition, so the manager can later confirm the operation it initiated is the one being reported on. Because multiple SNMP managers could in theory issue bulk operations against the same gateway, this ownership tag prevents one manager from misreading another's in-flight bulk-configuration result as its own. A provisioning script might write the string 'prov-server-03' here immediately before setting the repetition count, then poll ccasIfExtVoiceCfgBulkCfgResult and only trust the result if this owner string still reads 'prov-server-03'.
