ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepeatOwner

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepeatOwner

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OwnerString

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used for error checking of the operation specified in ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepetition.

The value of this object is set by the SNMP manager with its own identifier at the same time as issuing the bulk operation by setting ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepetition. Later on, the SNMP manager should check the value of this object, if it is the same as the SNMP manager name, then the value of ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepeatResult indicates the result of the bulk operation initiated by this SNMP manager.

What is ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepeatOwner?

This is the ownership-identifier counterpart to ccasIfExtVoiceCfgBulkCfgOwner, but scoped to bulk operations issued via ccasIfExtDs0GrpRepetition against the DS0 group configuration table. As with the voice-config version, this lets the specific SNMP manager that triggered a DS0-group bulk Set verify that a subsequently read result belongs to its own operation rather than a concurrent one from a different manager. A provisioning system might set this to 'netops-batch-7' right before triggering a 31-channel E1 DS0-group bulk configuration, then check this field still matches before trusting the reported result.
