Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasILSMinBreakTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.3.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the minimum time for which the ABCD bit pattern being received on the line, and should go back to its original signal pattern after the make pattern has been asserted. The value of 0 indicates there is no minimum break time for this signal. If the value is non-zero and the state change lasts for less than the minimum break time specified, it does not match the signal name.

What is ccasILSMinBreakTime?

This sets the minimum time the line signal must spend back at its original, pre-make, pattern before that break is accepted as valid, with 0 meaning no minimum is enforced. This guards against a make-break sequence being falsely recognized when the line only flickers back briefly before re-asserting, which would otherwise let transient glitches masquerade as a proper signal release. With a minimum break time of 100 ms configured, a line that returns to idle for only 30 ms before reasserting the make pattern would not count as a valid break, so the gateway continues treating the signal as still active.
