Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasGCnfRegSigMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.6.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CASRegisterSignal

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the register signaling mode for a R2 registers.

What is ccasGCnfRegSigMode?

This sets the register signaling mode, compelled, semi-compelled, or non-compelled, that governs how digit exchange proceeds for R2 registers on this trunk. This single setting determines which family of timers actually matters operationally; compelled mode relies on the ToneOn/ToneOff timers, while pulsed modes rely on the PulseOn/PulseOff timers, so getting this wrong means the correct timers for the intended mode are simply not the ones being applied. Setting this to compelled signaling mode on a trunk means the compelled forward-tone timer objects become the operative timing controls, while the pulse-timer objects elsewhere in the table become irrelevant for that trunk.

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasGCnfRegSigMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.6.1.1.4.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ccasGCnfRegSigMode.1
