ccasGCnfPulseReceiveTimeout

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasGCnfPulseReceiveTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.6.1.1.31

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the time that the MG should wait for the receipt of pulse (on hook pulse or off hook pulse). The value of 0 indicates the timer will not be started and MG would wait forever.

What is ccasGCnfPulseReceiveTimeout?

This sets how long the gateway will wait to receive an expected on-hook or off-hook pulse signal before timing out, with 0 meaning it waits indefinitely. This is a general pulse-detection timeout distinct from the more specific pulse-on/off timers elsewhere in this MIB, catching the case where no pulse arrives at all rather than governing the timing of a pulse that does arrive. With this set to 2 seconds, a channel expecting an off-hook pulse that never arrives within that window would be flagged by the gateway rather than left waiting forever for a pulse that is not coming.
