ccasGCnfOutCallPowerTwist
Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasGCnfOutCallPowerTwist
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.6.1.1.13
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object specifies the relative power level of the high frequency component for outgoing call. When this object is set to 0, the power level of both frequency components is set to the same level. When this object is set to a positive value, the power level of the high frequency component is set to relatively higher specified in this object than the low frequency component, ccasGCnfOutCallLoFreqPower. For example if ccasGCnfOutCallLoFreqPower is set to -12 dBm and this object is set to 5, the power level of the high frequency component becomes -7 dBm. When this object is set to a negative value, the power level of the high frequency component is set to relatively lower specified in this object than the low frequency component. For example if ccasGCnfOutCallLoFreqPower is set to -12 dBm and this object is set to -10, the power level of the high frequency component becomes -22 dBm.
What is ccasGCnfOutCallPowerTwist?
This sets the relative power offset of the high-frequency outgoing tone compared to the low-frequency tone, set via ccasGCnfOutCallLoFreqPower, with 0 meaning equal levels and a positive value meaning the high-frequency tone is boosted relatively higher. This is the outgoing-direction counterpart to the incoming twist objects, letting an admin pre-compensate outbound signaling for a trunk's known frequency-dependent attenuation before it ever reaches the far end's detector. An admin might set this to a positive value to boost the outgoing high-frequency tone relative to the low-frequency tone on a trunk known to attenuate high frequencies more over its cable run.
