ccasGCnfLongDurationTimer

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasGCnfLongDurationTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.6.1.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies long duration event when placed in front of a digit. It indicates that that position is satisfied only if the duration of the event exceeds the long-duration threshold.

What is ccasGCnfLongDurationTimer?

This sets the long-duration threshold, in the object's time unit, used to decide whether a signaling event placed in front of a digit qualifies as a long-duration event for digit-map matching purposes. Some digit-map patterns specifically require a preceding event, like an off-hook flash, to last longer than this threshold to be considered a match, so this object is what makes such duration-sensitive digit-map entries actually distinguishable from their short-duration counterparts. With this threshold set to 500 ms, a flash-hook event held for 700 ms would satisfy a digit-map pattern requiring a long-duration event, while a 200 ms flash would not.
