Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CASForwardSignal

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies a forward signal indicating that the call is set up from a subscriber's line to which priority treatment of calls has been accorded. This signal is specified to international trunks only. The default value is country specific.

What is ccasFwdRSSubPriorInternational?

This object specifies the same priority-subscriber forward signal as ccasFwdRSSubPriorNational, but scoped specifically to international trunks instead. The split between national and international priority signals means a priority subscriber's calls are marked correctly regardless of whether they route domestically or abroad, each using the trunk-type-appropriate signal so downstream congestion-management logic on either trunk type recognizes the priority correctly. The same hospital line placing an international call would trigger this signal instead of the national variant, preserving its priority treatment specifically on the international trunk group.
