What is ccasFwdRSMaintenanceEquipment?
This object specifies the forward signal indicating that the call originates from maintenance equipment rather than a subscriber or operator. Like ccasFwdRSTestCall, this classification exists so network elements can exclude or specially handle traffic generated by maintenance systems, such as automated line testers, rather than treating it as ordinary customer traffic in statistics and billing. A carrier's remote maintenance terminal placing a diagnostic call across a trunk would mark it with this forward signal so it is excluded from customer call-volume reporting.
