ccasBwdRSRepeatCalledDigit

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasBwdRSRepeatCalledDigit

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.4.1.1.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CASBackwardSignal

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies a backward signal requesting for out pulsing of the called digits or DNIS from beginning. The default value is country specific.

What is ccasBwdRSRepeatCalledDigit?

This object specifies the backward signal requesting the far end restart out-pulsing the entire called-party number, DNIS, from the first digit, rather than resending just one digit. This is a much more disruptive recovery than ccasBwdRSRepeatLastDigit, appropriate when the gateway loses track of its position in the digit sequence entirely, such as after a signaling desync, rather than just mis-hearing one digit. If the gateway cannot determine how many DNIS digits it has already correctly received after a signaling glitch, it would use this signal to have the entire dialed-number sequence sent again from digit one.
