Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CASBackwardSignal

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies a backward signal requesting the sending of the ANI or DNIS digit (n - 2) after reception of digit n. The default value is country specific.

What is ccasBwdRSPrevNminus2Digit?

This object specifies the backward signal requesting retransmission of the digit two positions back, n-2, in the ANI or DNIS sequence currently being collected. This gives the gateway a deeper rollback option than ccasBwdRSPrevDigit's single-digit-back request, useful when digit corruption is detected only after a second digit has already been received, letting recovery reach back further without discarding the whole sequence. If digits 6 and 7 of a DNIS both look suspect only after digit 7 arrives, the gateway could use this signal to have digit 6, n-2 relative to digit 7, resent specifically.
