ccasBwdRSAddrCompleteGroupA

Module: CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-CAS-IF-EXT-MIB::ccasBwdRSAddrCompleteGroupA

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.314.1.4.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CASBackwardSignal

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies a backward signal indicating that the R2 register at the incoming end needs no additional digit, but will not send Group B signals. The call has to be charged on answer. The default value is country specific.

What is ccasBwdRSAddrCompleteGroupA?

This object specifies the backward signal indicating the R2 register has enough address digits and will not proceed to send Group B signals at all, with the call instead being charged only once answered. This is a distinct outcome from ccasBwdRSXtoGroupBSignals; here the exchange explicitly skips subscriber-line-status reporting, so its presence changes how a gateway's call-progress and billing logic should behave, since no busy/free indication will follow. A call routed to a destination where line-status signaling is not supported might receive this signal instead of a Group B response, telling the gateway to simply proceed to ringing/answer without expecting a busy/free indication first.
