What is cienaCesMcastIgmpSnoopServerTopology?
This tells the device whether the multicast source, or server, for this service is reachable via a single centralized path or arrives via a distributed topology with multiple potential ingress points, which affects how the device tracks and validates the server-facing interface. An admin deploying multicast video from a single head-end would set this to centralized(1), whereas a network with multiple regional multicast sources feeding the same service would need distributed(2) to have the device correctly track server presence across several interfaces. A mismatched setting, say centralized(1) configured on a network that actually has multiple distributed sources, could cause the device to miss legitimate server traffic arriving from an unexpected interface.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.37.1.1.5.1.22 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CIENA-CES-MCAST-FILTER-MIB::cienaCesMcastIgmpSnoopServerTopology
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.37.1.1.5.1.22.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CIENA-CES-MCAST-FILTER-MIB::cienaCesMcastIgmpSnoopServerTopology.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cienaCesMcastIgmpSnoopServerTopology.1
