Description: This object represents the current state of the on-board buzzer. When on, the on-board buzzer is presently alerting. When off, the on-board buzzer is presently silent. Value of notSupported is returned when the IOM is not presently installed.
What is cienaCesChassisIOMBuzzerState?
This INTEGER (on/off/notSupported) reports whether the on-board buzzer is presently sounding right now, as opposed to cienaCesChassisIOMBuzzerEnable which only configures whether it is allowed to. A technician performing a hot-swap of a fan tray polls this value to confirm the buzzer has gone quiet again once the new tray is correctly seated, verifying the swap completed cleanly. For example, the value reads 'on' the moment the tray is pulled and returns to 'off' within seconds of reseating it.
