Description: A unique ID used for grouping disparate agents together.
For example, a concentrator may contain multiple agents.
This ID is could be assigned by the management station
to identify all of these agents as being contained in the
same concentrator.
What is chipGenID?
A read-write identifier that lets a management station group multiple agents (e.g., cards within the same concentrator chassis) together under a common ID.
