What is cadIfMacDomainSrcAddrVerifEnabled?
This object enables or disables Source Address Verification (SAV) for a MAC domain on a CMTS, which validates that traffic originated from expected sources to prevent spoofing. When enabled, the device checks that packets claiming to come from a particular host actually arrive from the correct network location. A cable network operator would enable this security feature to prevent IP spoofing attacks from clients on their network.
