Description: The amount of time that an impaired OFDM profile will remain impaired before transitioning to good upon being notified that the CM can decode the profile. This provides some hysteresis for a profile to become stable before using the newly decodable profile. If set to a value of 0, then there is no hysteresis (no timer is started) and all profiles may transition to good immediately upon being notified that the CM can decode the profile.
What is cadIfMacDomainDsOfdmProfileRecoveryGuardTime?
Specifies the minimum time in seconds that an impaired OFDM downstream profile must remain stable and decodable before the CMTS transitions it back to a good state. This guard time provides hysteresis to prevent rapid flapping between impaired and good states when channel conditions are marginal.
