Description: The control for the indexed 80211 device configuration. All changes to the cabhPsDev802dot11SecEntry MIB objects are reflected when reading the value of the MIB objects; however, those changes are NOT applied to the running configuration of the indexed 80211 device until they are successfully committed via use of the cabhPsDev802dot11SecControl object.
If changes are made to the cabhPsDev802dot11SecEntry MIB objects which are not yet successfully committed to the indexed 80211 device, the cabhPsDev802dot11SecControl object can be used to rollback all changes to the last valid 80211 device configuration and discard all intermediate changes.
restoreConfig - Setting cabhPsDev802dot11SecControl to this value will cause any changes to the cabhPsDev802dot11SecEntry objects not yet committed be reset to the values from the current running configuration of the indexed 80211 device.
commitConfig - Setting cabhPsDev802dot11SecControl to this value will cause the indexed 80211 device to validate and apply the valid cabhPsDev802dot11SecEntry MIB settings to its running configuration. The cabhPsDev802dot11SecCommitStatus object will detail the status of this operation.
What is cabhPsDev802dot11SecControl?
This object controls when pending security configuration changes are applied to the running 802.11 device. Changes written to the security table are only committed to the active configuration when this control is used to trigger an apply action.
