Module: BROCADE-VCS-MIB
OID (symbolic): BROCADE-VCS-MIB::vcsModeOfOperation
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.3.1.6.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: VcsOperationMode
Access: read-only
Description: The operational mode of this cluster.
What is vcsModeOfOperation?
Reports the fabric's operating mode: fabricCluster, where the switches behave as one L2 switch to the outside world but each keeps its own local configuration, or logicalChassis, where configuration is driven centrally from the principal switch and shared across all members. This tells an admin how the cluster's config model is currently behaving, distinct from vcsConfigMode which just reports the config-sync setting.
