What Is BEGEMOT-MIB?
BEGEMOT-MIB is a pure OID-registration module that defines the root of the Begemot enterprise subtree used by the FreeBSD-associated Begemot SNMP daemon project, under the fokus/enterprise tree. It does not itself expose any monitorable operational data; instead it exists solely to give a stable numeric namespace under which other Begemot daemon MIBs register their own object trees. Because it carries no leaf objects, it has no role in reporting hardware or software status such as uptime, temperature, or process health directly. It depends on the daemon-specific MIB modules registered beneath it for any actual monitoring capability. It is typically found only as an import target in FreeBSD/Begemot-based SNMP agent deployments, never polled on its own. Since it defines no leaf objects, BEGEMOT-MIB SNMP queries are never issued against it directly; any polling activity targets the specific Begemot daemon modules registered under its OID arc instead.

Monitoring Examples
This module defines only an OID arc and contains no tables or scalar objects to poll, so there is no runtime monitoring scenario associated with it directly; it simply supplies the parent OID that other Begemot daemon MIBs number their objects under.
