What is dot1dTpHCPortInDiscards?
Counts valid frames received on a bridge port that were subsequently discarded (filtered) by the Forwarding Process, using a high-capacity 64-bit counter. Elevated values indicate the bridge is intentionally dropping traffic, which may reflect VLAN filtering or security policies.
