Description: Enable/Disable Loopback detection function. The Loopback Detection function is used to detect the loop created by a specific port while Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is not enabled in the network, especially when the down links are hubs or unmanaged switchs.The Switch will automatically shutdown the port and sends a log to the administrator.
What is sysLBDStateEnable?
Enables or disables the Loopback Detection (LBD) function on the switch. LBD detects network loops on specific ports in environments where Spanning Tree Protocol is not in use, helping prevent broadcast storms.
