Description: When this is admitOnlyVlanTagged(2) the device will discard untagged frames or Priority-Tagged frames received on this port. When admitAll(1), untagged frames or Priority-Tagged frames received on this port will be accepted and assigned to the PVID for this port.

When this is admitOnlyUntaggedAndPriorityTagged the device will recieve only untagged and priority tagged frames on this port.

This control does not affect VLAN independent BPDU frames, such as GVRP and STP. It does affect VLAN dependent BPDU frames, such as GMRP.

What is dot1qPortAcceptableFrameTypes?

Controls which types of frames a port will accept on ingress: when set to admit-only-VLAN-tagged, the port discards any untagged or priority-tagged frames; when set to admit-all, the port accepts all frame types and assigns untagged frames to the port's PVID. This setting enforces VLAN tagging policy at the port level.
