Description: Specifies whether IP forwarding is enable on this interface. Disabling IP forwarding on an interface will result in packets which are to be forwarded on that interface being dropped and ICMP error messages being generated for the packets.
What is ifIpForwardingEnable?
Controls whether IP packet forwarding is enabled on this interface; when disabled, packets that would normally be routed through this interface are dropped and ICMP error messages are sent back to the source. This is used to selectively block routing on specific interfaces.
