Description: The address of the RPF next hop towards the RP. The InetAddressType is given by the alaPimStarGRPFNextHopType object. This address is called MRIB.next_hop(RP(G)) in the PIM-SM specification.
What is alaPimStarGRPFNextHop?
Reports the IP address of the next-hop router on the RPF path toward the RP, referred to as MRIB.next_hop(RP(G)) in PIM-SM. This is the immediate router that multicast control traffic traverses on its way to the Rendezvous Point.
