What Is ACC-DSX?
ACC-DSX is a vendor MIB from ACC (later part of Ericsson) that manages DSX cross-connect functionality on ACC equipment, covering time-slot level cross-connection between DS1 and DS3 circuits and general circuit-management configuration for digital cross-connect systems. It exposes configuration objects describing how individual DS1 time slots are mapped and cross-connected within a DS3 aggregate. Its monitoring value centers on circuit-provisioning correctness and, where cross-connect status objects exist, detecting a cross-connect mapping that has failed or been misconfigured, which would manifest as a specific channel losing connectivity even though the parent DS3 line remains up. It works in conjunction with standard DS1/DS3 MIBs (e.g., RFC 2495/2496) that report the underlying physical-layer alarms and statistics for the circuits being cross-connected. It is deployed on ACC/Ericsson digital cross-connect and access equipment used to groom DS1 channels out of DS3 trunks in carrier and enterprise WAN networks. Engineers can download the ACC-DSX file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ACC-DSX. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
No concrete sample objects were supplied for this module, so specific object names cannot be grounded; conceptually an administrator would review the time-slot cross-connect mapping table to confirm a given DS1 channel is correctly cross-connected within its parent DS3, useful for isolating a single-channel outage from a full DS3 line failure, but naming exact objects here would be speculative.
