Description: Provides performance monitoring counters for analog voice interfaces on AudioCodes gateways, including call completion rates and line quality metrics.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is AC-PM-ANALOG-MIB?

AC-PM-ANALOG-MIB is an AudioCodes performance-monitoring MIB dedicated to the analog voice interfaces (FXS/FXO ports) on the vendor's voice gateways, structured into a configuration sub-tree for setting the measurement interval and per-table thresholds, and a data sub-tree presenting the actual monitored tables. No sample objects were available for this module, but per its description it tracks interval-based performance data for analog lines, with a documented convention that a value of -1 means the requested measurement is unsupported or not yet available for that interval. Its monitoring role is squarely about hardware/line-quality and call-performance status on analog ports: it lets an operator track call completion rates and line-quality metrics per analog port over successive measurement intervals to catch a degrading POTS line or FXS/FXO port before it fails outright. It depends on the gateway's own configurable interval-period mechanism, and is one of a family of interval-based AudioCodes performance MIBs alongside the RTP/system-level AC-PERF-MEDIA-GATEWAY-MIB. It is deployed on AudioCodes gateways with analog FXS/FXO line cards used to bridge legacy analog telephony equipment onto a VoIP network. Engineers can download the AC-PM-ANALOG-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in AC-PM-ANALOG-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • AudioCodes voice gateways with analog (FXS/FXO) interfaces

Monitoring Examples

No sample objects were provided for this module; in general this type of MIB would be polled per analog port and per configured measurement interval for call-completion and line-quality counters, watching for the documented -1 (unsupported/not-yet-available) sentinel value, which would reveal a specific analog port whose call completion rate has degraded over recent intervals compared to its peers.

What Can Be Monitored

  • per-port call completion rate
  • analog line quality metrics
  • measurement interval configuration
  • per-table alarm thresholds
