Description: If in disabled mode, do not report Upstream Onu Rx Power errors, do not disable ONU and do not throw any traps.

If in monitorOnly mode, monitor Upstream Onu Rx Power levels and if level is outside of thresholds, set appropriate zhoneGponOnuStatusWord bits and throw zhoneGponOnuError trap.

If in blockOnError mode, monitor Upstream Onu Rx Power levels and if level is outside of thresholds, block traffic, disable ONU ranging, set appropriate zhoneGponOnuStatusWord bits and throw both zhoneGponOnuError and linkDownTrap traps.

What is zhoneGponOltOnuConfigUsRxPowerMonitoring?

Controls how the OLT reacts to this ONU's upstream receive power going outside configured thresholds: disabled suppresses monitoring entirely, monitorOnly (default) sets status bits and raises a zhoneGponOnuError trap without blocking traffic, and blockOnError additionally disables ranging, blocks traffic, and raises a linkDownTrap. An admin uses blockOnError to auto-isolate an ONU whose optics have degraded below safe receive levels.
