What Is ZYXEL-SUBNET-BASED-VLAN-MIB?
ZYXEL-SUBNET-BASED-VLAN-MIB is a ZyXEL private enterprise MIB for subnet-based VLAN assignment, classifying traffic into VLANs according to the source IP subnet. It exposes configuration mapping IP subnets to VLAN IDs on specific ports. Monitoring confirms the subnet-to-VLAN classification rules remain correctly applied, a configuration/software-state check for traffic segmentation policy. It extends standard 802.1Q VLAN tagging with subnet-based classification specific to ZyXEL switches.
