Description: Defines ZTE ZXR10 virtual switch configuration for software-based switching in virtualized environments.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is ZXR10-VSWITCH-MIB?
ZXR10-VSWITCH-MIB is a ZTE proprietary support module for ZXR10 devices that provides textual conventions and OBJECT-IDENTITY definitions used by the vswitch (software-based virtual switching) feature module. Rather than exposing its own monitorable tables, it defines shared data types and identity values that other ZXR10 vswitch-related MIBs use to represent virtual switch instances and their state in virtualized/software-defined switching environments. As a definitions-only module it exposes no interface, environmental, or performance counters directly; its monitoring relevance is indirect, underpinning the consistency of vswitch status and identity reporting in whichever MIB consumes these conventions. It depends on standard SNMPv2-SMI/SNMPv2-TC conventions and is imported by other ZTE ZXR10 vswitch configuration/status MIBs. It is used internally in ZTE ZXR10 platforms that support virtual/software switching, such as NFV or SDN-oriented deployments. Engineers can download the ZXR10-VSWITCH-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-VSWITCH-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
No sample objects were captured for this module, and consistent with its stated purpose of providing textual conventions and OBJECT-IDENTITY values, it defines no runtime tables of its own to poll. An administrator would instead monitor actual vswitch state through whichever companion ZXR10 MIB imports these conventions to expose per-vswitch status objects.
