Category: ZTE ZXR10 Overlay and Virtualization

Description: Monitors ZTE ZXR10 IP flow statistics and NetFlow-style traffic records for network traffic analysis.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ZXR10-IPFLOW-MIB?

ZXR10-IPFLOW-MIB monitors IP flow (NetFlow-style) statistics and export records on ZTE ZXR10 routers, capturing traffic flow information for network traffic analysis. It exposes flow-record data including exporter/collector-bound fields such as source IP (IPv4 and IPv6), destination IPv6 address, and DSCP marking of exported flow records, letting an operator analyze which traffic flows are traversing the router and how they're marked. This is a performance/traffic-analytics MIB rather than a hardware/environmental one, but flow export health (whether expected flow records are being generated and exported) is itself a software-status indicator that the flow-monitoring feature is functioning as configured. It is conceptually aligned with IETF IPFIX/NetFlow export concepts, implemented as a ZTE-specific IP flow MIB. It is deployed on ZTE ZXR10 series routers used at network edges or cores where traffic visibility via flow export is required. Engineers can download the ZXR10-IPFLOW-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ZXR10-IPFLOW-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ZTE ZXR10 series routers

Monitoring Examples

An admin would inspect exported flow records via objects like ipflowExptSrcIp/ipflowExptSrcIpv6 and ipflowExptDestIpv6 to identify which source/destination pairs are generating the most traffic, and check ipflowExptDscp to confirm flows carry the expected QoS marking. An unexpected surge of flows from a single ipflowExptSrcIp with an unusual ipflowExptDscp value could reveal a misbehaving host or misclassified traffic bypassing intended QoS policy.

What Can Be Monitored

  • exported flow source/destination IP (v4/v6)
  • flow DSCP marking
  • flow export record generation
