zxAnPppoeTestCapabilities

Module: ZTE-AN-PPPOE-TEST-MIB

OID (symbolic): ZTE-AN-PPPOE-TEST-MIB::zxAnPppoeTestCapabilities

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3902.1082.70.56.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Bits

Access: read-only

Description: The PPPoE test compatibility. The bit value 1 means the function represented by this bit is supported by this equipment. bit 0: value 1 means not supporting zxAnPppoeTestIfUserVid in zxAnPppoeTestIfConfTable. bit 1: value 1 means supporting zxAnPppoeTestIfUserMacAddress in zxAnPppoeTestIfConfTable. NOTE: No recommended to display it in NMS.

What is zxAnPppoeTestCapabilities?

This read-only BITS object reports which optional PPPoE test features this equipment supports: bit 0 set means zxAnPppoeTestIfUserVid in the config table is NOT supported, and bit 1 set means zxAnPppoeTestIfUserMacAddress IS supported; the MIB explicitly notes it is not recommended to display this in the NMS. Management software reads this before attempting to configure per-interface test parameters, to know which fields the device actually honors. A device reporting bit 1 set can accept a specific test MAC address via zxAnPppoeTestIfUserMacAddress, while one without that bit set will ignore or reject that field.
