xdsx1CfgLoopbackConfig

Module: XEDIA-DS1-MIB

OID (symbolic): XEDIA-DS1-MIB::xdsx1CfgLoopbackConfig

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.838.3.18.2.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable represents the loopback configuration of the DS1 interface. Agents supporting read/write access should return badValue in response to a requested loopback state that the interface does not support. The values mean:

xdsx1NoLoop Not in the loopback state. A device that is not capable of performing a loopback on the interface shall always return this as it's value.

xdsx1PayloadLoop The received signal at this interface is looped through the device. Typically the received signal is looped back for re- transmission after it has passed through the device's framing function.

xdsx1LineLoop The received signal at this interface does not go through the device (minimum pene- tration) but is looped back out.

xdsx1Framer

xdsx1Analog

What is xdsx1CfgLoopbackConfig?

Sets the loopback mode for this DS1 interface: noLoop(1, the default, no loopback), remotePayloadLoop(2, loops the received signal back after it passes through framing), remoteLineLoop(3, loops the signal back with minimal penetration), or localFramer(4)/localAnalog(5); an agent returns badValue for an unsupported mode.
