Module: Wellfleet-OSPF-MIB
OID (symbolic): Wellfleet-OSPF-MIB::wfOspfSpfCnt
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter
Access: read-only
Description: The number of times the OSPF SPF algorithm has been run for this area.
What is wfOspfSpfCnt?
A running counter of how many times the OSPF SPF (Dijkstra) algorithm has executed for this area. A rapidly climbing count indicates topology instability -- flapping links or routers -- within the area, which admins can correlate with wfOspfSpfHoldDown settings when tuning convergence behavior.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.9 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Wellfleet-OSPF-MIB::wfOspfSpfCnt
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.2.3.2.1.9.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Wellfleet-OSPF-MIB::wfOspfSpfCnt.1
