Description: This object indicates whether the information in this row should be considered valid. When active(1), the information is valid and represents the current peer of the OAM entity. When inactive(2), the information in this row is invalid.
A value of inactive(2) is returned if the wwpLeosOamOperStatus is disabled, passiveWait, or activeSendLocal. For all other values of wwpLeosOamOperStatus, a value of active(1) is returned.
What is wwpLeosOamPeerStatus?
This read-only value indicates whether the row of OAM peer information for this port is valid: active(1) once the peer's identity has been learned, or inactive(2) while OAM is disabled or still in early discovery (passiveWait or activeSendLocal). When inactive(2), all other fields in the peer table row, like the peer's MAC address, should be treated as meaningless.
