Description: The number of frames over which the threshold is defined. The default value of the window is the number of minimum size Ethernet frames that can be received over the physical layer in one second.

If wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold frame errors occur within a window of wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodWindow frames, an Event Notification OAMPDU should be generated with an Errored Frame Period Event TLV indicating the threshold has been crossed in this window.

What is wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodWindow?

This sets, in frames (14880-8928000, default one second's worth of minimum-size frames), the window size over which the Errored Frame Period Event threshold is evaluated. An admin tunes this alongside wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold to control how sensitive this port is to bursts of frame errors within a fixed-size sample window.
