Module: WWP-LEOS-OAM-MIB

OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-OAM-MIB::wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.400.1.2.6.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The number of frame errors that must occur for this event to be triggered. The default value is one frame error.

If wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold frame errors occur within a window of wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodWindow frames, an Event Notification OAMPDU should be generated with an Errored Frame Period Event TLV indicating the threshold has been crossed in this window.

What is wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold?

This sets the number of frame errors (0-4294967293, default 1) that must occur within the wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodWindow to trigger an Errored Frame Period Event notification. Raising this threshold makes the port tolerate more errors per window before alerting the peer, reducing event noise on a link with a known baseline error rate.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.400.1.2.6.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-OAM-MIB::wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.400.1.2.6.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> WWP-LEOS-OAM-MIB::wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.400.1.2.6.1.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> wwpLeosOamErrFramePeriodThreshold.1
