wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier
Module: WWP-LEOS-LLDP-MIB
OID (symbolic): WWP-LEOS-LLDP-MIB::wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6141.2.60.26.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: The time-to-live value expressed as a multiple of the wwpLeosLldpMessageTxInterval object. The actual time-to-live value used in LLDP frames, transmitted on behalf of this LLDP agent, can be expressed by the following formula: TTL = min(65535, (wwpLeosLldpMessageTxInterval * wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier)) For example, if the value of wwpLeosLldpMessageTxInterval is '30', and the value of wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier is '4', then the value '120' is encoded in the TTL field in the LLDP header.
The default value for wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier object is 4.
If the agent is capable of storing non-volatile configuration, then the value of this object must be restored after a re-initialization of the management system.
What is wwpLeosLldpMessageTxHoldMultiplier?
Sets the multiplier (2-10, default 4) applied to wwpLeosLldpMessageTxInterval to compute the LLDP time-to-live advertised in each frame -- e.g. a 30-second interval with a multiplier of 4 advertises a 120-second TTL to neighbors; this object is deprecated in favor of a newer equivalent.
