What Is VOGON-POEM-MIB?
VOGON-POEM-MIB is a Vogon Inc. proprietary MIB whose single object reports a 'poem number' counter — likely an internal diagnostic or sequence value specific to Vogon's forensic/media processing hardware. As a status MIB it lets an administrator query this counter for basic device identification or sequencing on Vogon equipment. It is deployed on Vogon Inc. equipment implementing this proprietary MIB. Engineers can download the VOGON-POEM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in VOGON-POEM-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
What Can Be Monitored
- device-specific counter (poemNumber)
Supported Devices
- Vogon Inc. equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator queries poemNumber as a basic reachability/identification check against Vogon Inc. equipment.
