Description: This variable states which Data Link Connec- tion Management scheme is active (and by impli- cation, what DLCI it uses) on the Frame Relay interface.
What is frDlcmiState?
Indicates which Data Link Connection Management scheme is active on this Frame Relay interface: none configured, LMI Rev1, or ANSI T1.617 Annex D or B, per its DESCRIPTION. Admins set this to match the LMI variant the carrier's frame-relay switch expects, since a mismatch here prevents the interface from coming up correctly.
