ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval

Module: UBQS-CFM-MIB

OID (symbolic): UBQS-CFM-MIB::ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7800.100.10.1.2.2.1.1

Description: Interval between CCM transmissions to be used by all MEPs in the MA. interval3ms(1) CCMs are sent every 3 1/3 milliseconds. interval10ms(2) CCMs are sent every 10 milliseconds. interval100ms(3) CCMs are sent every 100 milliseconds. interval1s(4) CCMs are sent every 1 second. interval10s(5) CCMs are sent every 10 seconds. interval1min(6) CCMs are sent every minute. interval10min(7) CCMs are sent every 10 minutes.

What is ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval?

The Continuity Check Message (CCM) transmission interval used by every MEP in this Maintenance Association, e.g. interval1s(4) for one-second heartbeats or interval10s(5) for a slower cadence. A shorter interval detects a connectivity failure faster but generates more control-plane traffic, so this is a key latency-versus-overhead tuning knob for CFM fault detection.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.7800.100.10.1.2.2.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> UBQS-CFM-MIB::ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.7800.100.10.1.2.2.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> UBQS-CFM-MIB::ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.7800.100.10.1.2.2.1.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ubiCfmMaAttrCCInterval.1
